Every April, New York Bridal Week sets the trends of the season by inviting some of the biggest names in bridal design to launch their newest creations on the catwalk.
A major milestone in the wedding planner's year, it's during this crucial month that the cuts of necklines and skirts, fabrics and colours are decided on for the season ahead.
Among some of the best designers in the New York show was the legendary Oscar de la Renta and the effortlessly feminine Marchesa whom Blake Lively picked for her wedding day last September.
Go-to celebrity bridal designer, Vera Wang, also produced an impressive collection of ivory frocks in 2012 after a season of colourful wedding creations.
