Jessica Simpson opted for the less traditional route when it came to celebrating the lead-up to her July wedding.
The fashion designer, 33, chose to have a joint bachelor-bachelorette party with her fiancé Eric Johnson, 34, given that the lovebirds share the same group of friends.
"They didn't want to go off and do their own thing," Stephanie Terblanche, Jessica's close pal and bridesmaid, told People. "We just wanted to all be together."

"This is what we would do anyway," she added. "We would all go out, and I think that this speaks for the group. If we are not going to be at someone's house hanging out playing beer pong, this is the closest thing to it.
"Everyone had a great time. There were fun toasts at dinner and dancing."
Jessica and Eric invited about 40 people to the bash, which was held at the trendy bar Warwick on Los Angeles' Sunset Boulevard. Among the couple's guests were their bridesmaids, groomsmen, Jessica's parents and Eric's former American football teammates.
The groom-to-be, who was an NFL tight end player, proposed to his fiancée in November 2010 after six months of dating. She was previously married to singer Nick Lachey.
The couple had to postpone their nuptials after the near back-to-back births of their two children — daughter Maxwell, two, and one-year-old son Ace.
Jessica has been exercising hard to get into shape before the big day, which is said to fall on the July 4 weekend. She is said to have upped her daily cardio workout to six miles a day on the treadmill.
