Beyoncé and Jay Z crash bride's wedding while holidaying in Italy

Beyoncé Knowles took a bride by surprise when she accidentally crashed her wedding.

The Drunk In Love singer and her rapper husband Jay Z, who were holidaying in Portofino, Italy, stumbled across a local church when they decided to pop in to visit. Unbeknown to the couple, the nuptials were taking place.

Adding a touch of star quality to the ceremony, Beyoncé happily obliged and made the bride's day when she stopped to pose for a photo.

The leading ladies made quite the duo, with Beyoncé flaunting her curvaceous figure in a floral bikini and wrap-around sarong. She topped off her summer look with a pair of oversized shades and a straw hat.

The bride, who stunned in a floral, lace gown, couldn't have looked happier as she leant into the pop star and grinned at the camera.

Beyoncé has been enjoying a hiatus from her On The Run tour, which kicked off in late June and will finish in Paris next week.

Beyoncé, 33, thanked her millions of fans for sending in birthday wishes

Alongside her two-year-old daughter Blue Ivy and her husband, Beyoncé recently celebrated turning 33. After receiving thousands of well wishes from her fans and celebrity friends worldwide, including Michelle Obama, Beyoncé sent out a special thank you note.

The songstress took to Instagram to post a photo of herself doing an impressive backwards bend in a bikini. "Thank y'all so much for my birthday wishes! 33!!!!!" Beyoncé captioned it, showing she was still as flexible as ever.

On her actual birthday which fell on Thursday, Beyoncé posted a sweet throwback photo as well as a video of a birthday cake being lit and cut into slices.

While the Texas-born beauty and Jay Z have been surrounded by rumours of a split, the couple seemed to dispel any reports of marital strife as they attended Made in America earlier this month – the music event founded by Jay Z in 2012.

The couple looked blissfully happy as they enjoyed a private moment together, cuddling up to each other and soaking up the festival vibes.
