In July Michelle revealed to HELLO! exclusively that "no wedding preparations have been done at all. "We've got the venue and the date but that's all so far", the 27-year-old told us, adding that filming on her final scenes for Corrie had taken priority over choosing her bridal gown.

"I haven't even looked at wedding dresses yet," she said. "I've been so busy with Corrie that I haven't stopped to try anything on, so I don't even know what suits me yet".

She went on to post a cryptic message via Twitter in August that seemed to suggest they were getting closer to tying the knot.

The actress, who is now filming a new BBC drama, told fans how she was "getting my planning on!!!!" alongside heart and thumbs up emojis, using the hashtag "#so excited".
