Salma Hayek is celebrating eight years of wedded bliss. The 50-year-old actress took to Instagram on Tuesday, 25 April to pen a heartfelt tribute for her husband François-Henri Pinault on their wedding anniversary. "The greatest blessing I have in my life is love. 11 years together, 8 married," the Frida star wrote alongside a photo of herself and François from their Italian nuptials.

Salma and the 54-year-old businessman quietly tied the knot in Paris on Valentine's Day back in 2009. A few months later in April, the duo celebrated with a second star-studded ceremony in Venice, Italy. The actress stunned for the occasion wearing a Balenciaga wedding gown by Nicolas Ghesquiere and wearing her dark tresses up in a bun. At the time the couple's daughter, Valentina Paloma (then 19 months), served as a flower girl.
Last week, the mom-of-one opened up about mistakingly accusing her husband of having an affair. Salma recounted the misunderstanding to Jimmy Fallon during an appearance on the Tonight Show. "Like a year ago he said, 'You know what guys, I'm going to get a dialect coach and I'm going to get rid of the accent before you who has been living in the states for like 67 years,' referring to me," she recalled. "He never mentioned it again so I thought he didn't do it." However, Salma recently discovered a message on her husband's phone from a woman named Elena.

Reciting the message to Jimmy, Salma said, "Hi, this is Elena, if you want to improve your English, you have to practice, do you want to practice now?" The Hollywood star admitted, "I'm Mexican, this doesn't go well. I was so furious and I said well obviously she's desperate, so he's not calling her you know, should I say something? I trust him. I'm not going to say anything." While Salma tried to play it cool, four hours later she lost it. She confessed, "We're eating. I'm cool and everything. I'm acting 'Hi baby.' Everything's okay. I'm eating and I go, 'Who the hell is Elena?! Who the hell is Elena?!'"
Despite her husband not knowing who Elena was, Salma told him, "You tell that Elena that I speak English you can practice your English with me because she sent you a message." To which François responded, "You mean Elsa." At that point the dad-of-three started laughing. Salma explained to Jimmy, "It's an app. Like Siri. Her name is Elsa but don't get it because his French is still very strong his accent, so Elsa doesn't work."
