The high neck dress was covered in delicate micro pearl embroidery and featured unusual short lace sleeves with cutouts at the shoulders. It cascaded down into a sweeping train, perfectly complemented by Christina's white tulle veil which had matching Chantilly lace appliqué.Christina took a hands-on approach to creating the gown. Speaking to Life & Style magazine in May, she revealed she was helping the unnamed designer — "a close friend of mine" — to create the one-of-a-kind dress. "It's fun," she said of the design process. "We are still in the initial sketching stages."
