The Man Utd and England star, who collapsed after sustaining an injury to his ankle during a game on Tuesday night, has been assessed by medics in Manchester.
And much to the delight of England fans, doctors have revealed the striker may be fighting fit in just a few weeks.
The sportsman, who managed a smile for fans as he left hospital, has been advised to rest, ice and compress his ankle and is expected to be back on top form in a minimum of two weeks.
