Jordan's beautiful young queen, Rania, demonstrated how she combines motherhood and monarchy at an awards ceremony founded by and named after her husband King Abdullah.
Sitting with their youngest child, four-year-old Hashem, snuggled on her lap, the stylish royal attended the King Abdullah II Award For Physical Fitness ceremony, to watch around 3,000 youngsters collecting their prizes.
In total, some 300,000 school children participated in the competition, which was launched by the king four years ago to encourage girls and boys to take part in a range of sports and adopt a healthy lifestyle.
Making it an especially proud occasion for the royal couple was the fact that Hashem's athletic sister, 12-year-old Iman, took fourth place overall in her age group.
