Jason Gardiner - the judge regarded as the Simon Cowell of Dancing On Ice - has released an apology after causing offence with a comment made on the weekend's show.
The Aussie panelist - who has shot to fame for his 'Mr Nasty' persona on the talent contest - came under scrutiny for a number of remarks he made about former swimming champion, Sharron Davies.
Jason told Sharon - a contestant on this series - that she was "like watching a faecal matter that won't flush".
"It just goes around and around and around but doesn't go anywhere," he told her.
The comment caused fans in their hundreds to complain.
"It's about time that he was flushed off the show for crossing the line," one fan says.
"It is bullying. It is supposed to be entertainment," says the director of MediaWatch.
In response to the uproar, ITV has responded: "Jason has issued an apology."
Meanwhile, Sharron isn't letting the criticism get her down.
"I take it as good criticism and work hard on it. But my little girl was upset. She had to go to school and deal with everybody."
