While Oscar-buzz surrounds his most recent film role, Colin Firth has a new project in the pipeline.
It has been announced that the British actor and Cameron Diaz have both signed up to star in the remake of 1966 crime comedy, Gambit.
Filming will get underway in London in May, with The Last Station's Michael Hoffman directing a script written by Joel and Ethan Coen.
The King's Speech star will play a London art expert who attempts to con a wealthy collector into buying a fake Monet painting.
Cameron, who was most recently seen in The Green Hornet, will play a Texan rodeo worker who is roped in to help.
The original Gambit – nominated for three Oscars - starred Sir Michael Caine and Shirley MacLaine.
