Prince Johan Friso of the Netherlands has now left Lech, Austria where he was left in a coma after a skiing accident.
The palace confirmed the royal had been moved, saying: "His Royal Highness Prince Friso arrived today in London, where he has been living for many years.
"Wellington hospital was recommended by experts. Considering his condition, Prince Friso will receive the best possible treatment there."
Friso has been in intensive care since being buried by an avalanche in the Austrian Alps on February 17.
Now he will come back to Britain where he and his wife Mabel have been raising their two daughters Luana, seven, and six-year-old Zaria.
His mother, Queen Beatrix, has called off her official engagements to be by her son's side.
