Clint Eastwood could be taking on the role of director for the Jersey Boys film, according to reports.
The Oscar-winning filmmaker is said to be "in talks" to take the reins of the big-screen adaptation of the hit musical, said The Hollywood Reporter.
Clint - who has directed 32 films including Million Dollar Baby, Invictus and Mystic River - has apparently set his sights on the musical movie after the casting delays surrounding A Star Is Born, which Beyonce was due to star in.
Clint, 82, is expected to begin work on Jersey Boys first.
Iron Man director Jon Favreau had previously been linked to the director's job on the Tony-winning musical, which chronicles the rise of Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons, and their split.
Clint, who last directed J Edgar starring Leonardo DiCaprio, has won Oscars for his directing, for both Unforgiven and Million Dollar Baby.
