The organiser behind Michael Jackson's summer concerts has revealed that one of the reasons the king of pop decided to return to live performing after 13 years was in order to establish a trust fund for his three children.
Randy Phillips, head of the company promoting Michael's 50-date run at London's O2 arena, has revealed: "He told me that whatever profit he makes from these shows will go into a trust fund for his children."
"When I asked him why he was doing this tour now he said it was because his kids are old enough to appreciate it and he still felt young enough to do it."
Michael, whose last big tour was in 1996, is dad to 12-year-old Prince, daughter Paris, who's 11, and six-year-old Prince Michael Jackson II, also known as Blanket
