Since her Olympic success equestrian Zara Phillips has been too busy to speak to her grandmother.
The Queen's granddaughter became the first member of the royal family to win an Olympic medal on Tuesday when her team won silver.
Asked if she had received any message from the monarch, the champion athlete replied: "No not yet, I haven't had time with all this media."
But the Queen is known to be very proud of Zara, whom she presented with an MBE in 2007.
And the 31-year-old had plenty of support from the rest of her family during the competition.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Prince Harry and Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie cheered on their cousin.
When she stepped up to the podium it was her mother Princess Anne who presented her with the silver medal – an experience which Zara described as "pretty cool".
