Former Prime Minister Baroness Thatcher has arrived home after being released from a London hospital.
Assisted by two aides, the 85-year-old managed a brief smile and a wave for photographers on the doorstep of her Belgravia home on Monday.
She left the private Cromwell hospital almost two weeks after she was admitted with an infection after suffering from the flu.
Her spokesman said she has now been given the all-clear by doctors.
The former politician – voted the world's most influential woman in a weekend poll – had been forced to pull out of a Downing Street event to mark her birthday.
David Cameron has sent his "warmest wishes" and is said to be looking for a new date to welcome her back to Downing Street for the celebrations.
The Conservative peer – prime minister from 1979 to 1990 – was advised to give up public speaking in 2005 after suffering some minor strokes.
But she continues to attend some functions and was seen at a recent address by the Pope during his state visit to Britain.
