A trailer for Whitney Houston's final film has made its debut on US TV.
Viewers got a first glimpse of the late singer's movie, Sparkle, when NBC's Today Show premiered the trailer on Monday.
A remake of the 1976 original, Sparkle stars the late Whitney Houston as the mother of three girls who form a singing group and struggle with fame and drug addiction.
Whitney was poised for a movie comeback 20 years after her role in The Bodyguard. The singer was also an executive producer on the project.
The brief trailer displays the daughters performing and Whitney telling them: "I always knew you had the gift."
The movie is due to be released later in 2012.
