The time is fast approaching when Bill Clinton will walk his daughter Chelsea down the aisle.
But before that happens there's something important he's got to do at his daughter's request – lose some weight.
"She doesn't think I'm in shape," said the former president, at the Pete Peterson Foundation's Fiscal Summit in Washington, DC.
When he asked his daughter what her definition of "looking good" is, she replied: "Oh, about 15 pounds".
Mr Clinton said he didn't know if he was quite ready to give 30-year-old Chelsea away at her summer nuptials.
"I told her when she was a little girl that it would suit me if she didn’t move out until she was 25 and didn’t get married until she was 35," said the 63-year-old.
He did, however, say he is "really fortunate" Chelsea will be marrying her childhood friend Marc Mezvinsky.
