Many Brits woke up this morning to grey skies, clouds and rain, particularly over the London area.
But despite the poor start, it seems that the weather may improve as the Thames Diamond Jubilee River Pageant gets underway in the capital.
The BBC's Sara Thornton has said it will get "a little bit better" as the day goes on, but hastens to add that sunshine is unlikely.
"We are going to have dry interludes. It's going to be cloudy and will feel cold and damp," she said.
Nevertheless, Jubilee parties are already in full swing across the nation despite the poor conditions.
Scotland and Northern Ireland are lucky enough to see the brightest weather on Sunday.
