TV presenter Carol Vorderman has revealed that she loves being on Loose Women and finds the show "a hoot".
Carol - who used to present Countdown alongside the late Richard Whiteley - has recently moved to ITV to host the daytime panel show.
Speaking of Richard and of her move she said:
"Since Richard died, I've missed being part of a gang. I've hosted programmes since but it's not quite the same.
"I absolutely adore banter and when I hosted Loose Women a couple of times last year, I felt very at home."
Despite regularly being under scrutiny from the media about her size and dress sense, Carol insists she felt comfortable in front of the cameras throughout her first few shows.
"On Countdown, people in the audience would say, 'Oh Carol, you're not half as fat as you look on the telly', which is funny," she revealed.
"A lot of women on telly are size six, so as a size 10, I'm at the larger end of the scale and telly adds a dress size and a half. But I'm quite happy. I haven't weighed myself for 12 years."
She recently raised eyebrows for wearing jeans at the age of 50, but Carol stood up for herself and women of her age saying she thought it was "ridiculous".
She went on to say that "people should be able to wear what they want."
