Simon Cowell is apparently taking steps to help relaunch the careers of both Jonathan Ross and George Michael.
The music mogul was spotted meeting up with the pair at the pop singer's London home this week.
And it is being reported he is planning a one-off TV show which will see presenter Jonathan interview George about his recent jail stint and future plans.
A source told the Mirror: "Simon is a big fan of both these guys. He thinks it’s a shame they're no longer front of the entertainment business – other than for all the wrong reasons.
"Basically, George will tell all, sing a few classics and remind people why he was a pop god, and Ross wants to reclaim his crown as the man they all want to talk to.
"It will be a great one-off special… There is great chemistry between them all, and Simon has the full support of ITV, so the project looks like a real goer."
George was released from prison last month after serving half of an eight-week sentence for crashing his car while under the influence of drugs.
And Jonathan was temporarily suspended from the BBC after he and Russell Brand left lewd messages for Faulty Towers actor Andrew Sachs.
