Tracey Emin's BRITs statue design unveiled

Tracey Emin's BRITs statue design has been unveiled.

The visionary artist has become the fifth British artist to apply her unique creative vision to the iconic BRITs trophy, following in the footsteps of Dame Vivienne Westwood and acclaimed designer Philip Treacy.

The script on the unique awards statue reads: "Congratulations on your talent on your life. On everything you give to others.Thank you."

On designing the trophy, Tracey said: "You want to do it really well. You don't just want to decorate it, you want to make something that is really Tracey-ish, that is special for the people receiving it."

The 2015 BRITs awards, hosted by double act Ant and Dec, will take place on 25 February at London's O2 arena and will be exclusively broadcast on ITV.
