Tickets for the Opening Ceremony of the Invictus Games, the international Paralympic-style sports event heavily supported by Prince Harry, are now on sale.
Celebrities including Daniel Craig, Joss Stone, Tom Hardy, Joanna Lumley, Will.i.am, Rod Stewart, Stephen Fry, Bear Grylls, Bruce Forsyth have all pledged their support for the games.
The Opening Ceremony will take place on Wednesday 10 September, and an audience of 5,000 will gather on the South Lawn of Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.
Kim Gaven – the creative director of the 2012 Summer Olympics Closing Ceremony, is the mastermind behind the show.
To kick off the inspirational sporting event, the crowd can look forward to an opening extravaganza which includes an exclusive performance of the official anthem created by Coldplay's Chris Martin.
Adding to the military-themed spectacle there will be an aerobatic display from The Red Arrows and a Competitor´s Parade of more than 400 wounded serving and veteran Servicemen and women from 14 nations.
