It's official: the Duchess of Cambridge is a global fashion icon.
The stylish royal has been named as one of the best dressed people in the world by Vanity Fair.
Kate appears on the list of one of the ten 'International Best Dressed Women' of 2011.
She joins France's first lady Carla Bruni, Carey Mulligan and Tilda Swinton on the list, which is not ranked in any order.
The magazine commended 29-year-old Kate on her "ladylike youthfulness" and her "whirlwind of fashion successes" in the past 12 months.
She has appeared on the list before – back in 2008 – but this is the first time she has featured since joining the royal family.
