Amanda Holden was unable to hold back tears after saying goodbye to the Theatre Royal in London's West End.
But despite the emotional farewell, she also couldn't stop smiling as she left the venue clutching a huge bunch of flowers after her last performance as Princess Fiona in Shrek: The Musical.
Dressed in a pretty white silk dress with diamante detail, which showed off her pregnancy bump, the star stopped outside and talked to fans as she signed autographs and posed for pictures.
Clutching her flowers and some gifts, she then climbed into a waiting car and was whisked off to Sophie's Steakhouse and Bar in Covent Garden where her friends and cast mates threw her a leaving party.
Amanda had been tweeting throughout the day to update her fans on her final stint.
While in her dressing room getting ready for Monday night's show, she wrote:
"Putting Fiona make up on for last time! In pretty empty dressing room! Its like the end of a movie and hopefully I'll get a Happily Ever After."
Amanda's exit paves the way for Girls Aloud star Kimberley Walsh to step into her shoes as the new Princess Fiona.
Wishing her well in her role, Amanda tweeted: "It's all over!! Had the MOST amazing night with the best cast and crew ever!! Love you all! Break a Leg Kimberley for Weds!."
