US actor Jeff Bridges has revealed he would love to win a prestigious gold statue at this Sunday's Oscar ceremony.
The Crazy Heart star is nominated for best actor in recognition of his role as a down-and-out country singer.
"It feels great to get a nod from my guys, the actors who do what I do and it would be wonderful to have that little gold guy, you know that cool statue? That would be a cool thing," he says.
But the 60-year-old is being careful not to get his hopes up.
"However it works out, I don't have too much emotional attachment to winning it or not. Can you imagine putting yourself in that position? It's just odd. It's odd and it's tense and I don't like being tense," he said.
