Celebrity chef Nigella Lawson has a following that runs into the millions, but her children are not unfortunately among them.
The domestic goddess recently admitted to the Daily Telegraph that her kids turn their noses up at her gourmet cuisine, which includes recipes for roast tatties cooked in goose fat, as well as ingredients such as prunes, pomegranates.
"My children won't eat my food. If it is not plastic or out of a box, then they are not interested," she explained.
The frank comments by the 49-year-old TV chef, who is married to art dealer Charles Saatchi, came as she talked about the new the book she's writing.
Nigella was thinking of penning a novel but has reverted back to her main love – food. "I had thought about doing a novel, but the cooking thing has rather taken over," she said.
