Little Mix and Lorraine Kelly go 'Corrie' crazy

Little Mix and TV presenter Lorraine Kelly have filmed cameo appearances for Coronation Street.

Aired later on this month, the stars have featured in the charity episode will raise money for ITV's Text Santa charity appeal, which will be hosted by Paddy McGuinness to raise money for a host of charities such as Age UK, Marie Curie Cancer Care and The Anthony Nolan Trust.

Speaking about her role as a policewoman in the episode, Lorraine said: "It's always been an ambition of mine to appear, even if it's just in the background of the Rovers."

"But this is even better, because I get to play a character."

The presenter has been getting into the Christmas spirit this year, as she also rode down a zip wire to raise funds for Uk4u thanks, which raises funds for British troops.

Little Mix will be seen showcasing their talents in Wetherfield's favourite local, the Rovers Return.

Corrie veteran Liz Dawn, who played Jack's battleaxe wife Vera Duckworth will make a comeback as a ghost in the Christmas Carol-themed show, which will air on December 21.
