Mayor of London Boris Johnson enjoys a swing away from the polls, by hitting the floor with Arlene Phillips.
He joined commuters at St Pancras International station to take part in Big Dance 2012 which is said to the world's biggest dance festival.
He launched a day of events at the station which saw performances on several free stages that included artists from English National Ballet, Sadler's Wells and East London Dance.
The celebration also saw a specially created dance sequence from Kate Prince's ZooNation.
Big Dance 2012 officially begins on Saturday, continues for nine days and features millions of people across the UK who will take part in mass events - in streets, schools, on beaches and rooftops.
Some of the country's top choreographers have been working in communities with styles ranging from hip hop to clog dancing and from Bollywood to tea dances.
It will include a free performance by more than 1,000 people in Trafalgar Square on July 14, created by choreographer Wayne McGregor.
