David Hasselhoff has insisted he will return for the next series of Britain's Got Talent.
There were rumours that the star could be leaving after just one run on the ITV talent show.
And the broadcaster has said decisions about the next series have yet to be made.
But the Hoff told Absolute's Christian O'Connell: "I wouldn't leave the show.
"Stranger things have happened.
"When the show is over, the last conversation I had with Simon before he sailed away was 'Darling, are you coming back?'
"And I said, 'Absolutely'. So I'm coming back."
Following Michael McIntyre's decision to leave the show, David insisted he is going nowhere.
"I know that Michael's not coming back but no one has called to say, 'Hey, you're officially on the board'.
"You know they usually do this at the last minute. It's always kind of a last thing negotiation," he explained.
The 59-year-old added: "I loved it, man, it was great.
"I really got to put a face behind the people who watch my show and it was a lot of fun.
"Now that I know the accents and I know where I'm going, obviously I'm going to come back."
