While Lily Allen is said to be worth more than £6million, the pop star admitted that she turned down an offer from the online game Second Life that could have more than doubled her money.
The 28-year-old turned down the gig because the payment was in 'bitcoins', the game's virtual currency. Currently on holiday with husband Sam Cooper and their two children, Lily took to Twitter to vent her frustration.
"About five years ago someone asked me to stream a gig live on second life for hundreds of thousands of bitcoins," she tweeted. "'As if' I said. #idiot #idiot".
The 'virtual' currency's value has now skyrocketed to around £610 per bitcoin, meaning that the Hard Out Here singer could have made millions.
