The Apprentice winner Michelle Dewberry has been diagnosed with skin cancer. The Hull-born entrepreneur took to Twitter to share her diagnosis with fans.
"Biopsy results received," she tweeted. 'Turns out that what I thought was a persistent pimple on my face is actually skin cancer. #AlwaysGetChecked".
The 34-year-old, who won the BBC reality show in 2006, urged others to get themselves checked.
"Thx for your messages guys," she tweeted later in the day. "I'm gonna be just fine. Op booked in to cut it out. Just wanted to share, to encourage others to get checked too".
After winning the show, Michelle worked for Sir Alan Sugar for 11 months before leaving to set up her own consultancy firm. She currently presents a weekly programme on Sky alongside Eamonn Holmes.
