A white glove that the late Michael Jackson threw into a crowd in 1996 has been sold at an auction in Melbourne for $49,000.
At a film premiere 13 years ago, the king of pop - who was in Australia for his History tour - tossed the item into a group of awaiting fans.
Australian music collecter Bill Hibble was the lucky recipient, and his mother put the item up for sale after her son's recent death.
The glittering garment, which was worn by Michael on the day of his wedding to Debbie Rowe, has been bought by Las Vegas' Hard Rock Hotel and Casino.
Another white glove worn by the star when he first performed the Moonwalk in 1983 is also set to go under the hammer at a New York auction later this year.
