Beckhams' children's charity raises £1m in five years

Monday February 8, 2010

It's no secret that the Beckhams like to splash out. From their customised cars to their designer clothes, the couple own a host of luxury items.

But the pair also help many others with their earnings.

The kind-hearted couple have donated £1million to their children's charity over the last five years.

In that time, David and Victoria have helped hundreds of disabled youngsters with numerous state-of-the-art wheelchairs.

The Victoria and David Beckham Children's Charity is run by the Spice Girl's mother.

To have raised so much money and helped so many people is amazing," says the NGO's managing director.

"Some of these wheelchairs can cost £10,000 and they are life-changing."
