Queen of pop Madonna has taken her adopted son David Banda to see his former orphanage in central Malawi.
Chants of "welcome home, David!" and "we love you, David!" could reportedly be heard from inside the Home Of Hope as the four-year-old and his mother arrived.
Head of the orphanage Lucy Chipeta was keen to have David back during Madonna's week-long trip to the country, so not to break his "emotional attachment" to the home.
"David spent most of his first days on earth here," she told the BBC. "We are delighted to have him back."
"We have preserved his room including his crib," she added.
Madonna, in Malawi since Monday, is scheduled to leave the African country on Friday.
