Holding hands in the Spanish sunshine, Samantha and David Cameron look happy to be enjoying one of their first child-free holidays in years.
The relaxing break in the breathtaking city of Granada was the Prime Minister’s treat for his wife’s 40th birthday.
Samantha’s big day is actually on April 18. But the couple are taking advantage of the Easter parliamentary recess to sneak some time off before their children break up for school.
With Nancy, seven, Arthur Elwen, five, and Florence, seven months, being cared for back home, they felt free to stroll the historic streets without any cares.
They visited the world famous Alhambra palace the seat of the Moorish leaders that ruled Spain in the 14th Century.
Later the PM and his stylish other half headed out to dinner. No doubt, to try traditional tapas – tasty snacks served up in almost every bar and restaurant in the country.
