Lindsay Lohan is not allowed to leave the Betty Ford Centre at any time during her 90 day star for violating her probation, it has been revealed.
Patients at the rehab facility in Rancho Mirage, California typically earn privileges to go off campus for occasional shopping or a meal.
However, Mean Girls star Lindsay - who was ordered by a judge to spend 90 days in clinic as part of a plea deal - is confined to the desert grounds, according to a letter addressed to her lawyer Shawn Holley and filed with the Los Angeles Superior Court, People.com reported.
"It is understood by the Betty Ford Centre that your client is to remain on the premises for the duration of her 90 day stay in treatment," the document reads.
Patients at the clinic are forbidden from having a mobile phone, can only make brief calls or use the internet at weekends, and are subjected to random drug tests.
The letter adds that Lindsay will be treated by a battery of experts, including a physician, nurse, psychologist, case manager, spiritual care counsellor, family counsellor, dietician, fitness trainer and a chemical dependency technician in a strict hour-by-hour schedule, starting at 6 am and ending at 9 pm.
