Prince Harry has moved to Arizona for the final stage of a two-month Apache helicopter flying course.
The prince and his peers have been sent to a small town in the desert, where conditions mimic that of Afghanistan.
The switch sees him move from the Naval Air Facility at El Centro in California near the Mexican border, where he was originally stationed, to the Gila Bend Air Force Auxiliary Field in southern Arizona.
This is the last phase of a 16-month training programme to prepare the recruits for combat.
Harry reportedly plans to return to Afghanistan next year, when he is a fully trained Apache pilot.
