Spain's best known aristocrat has divided her vast wealth between her six children to win them round to her third marriage.
Now in her 80s, the fabulously wealthy Duchess of Alba is planning to marry Alfonso Diez Carabantes, who is 24 years her junior.
She is thought to be worth between 600m and 3.5bn euros (£524m and £3bn) and owns sprawling properties in Ibiza, Seville and Madrid.
Her son Carlos will inherit Liria Palace in Madrid and the Monterrey Palace in Salamanca.
