Britain's Got Talent judge David Hasselhoff has been offered a lifeline by Simon Cowell, who said no decisions had been made yet about the next series.
It was reported that the actor, who joined the panel earlier this year along with comic Michael McIntyre, would be leaving after just one run on the ITV show.
A report in The Sun said former Baywatch star David – whose ex-wife Pamela featured in Channel 5's Celebrity Big Brother – had lacked "sparkle".
It also said Michael's position was under threat because he was considered "too nice".
But Simon said: "I haven't made any decisions yet on BGT."
The last series of the talent show saw a shock win for singer Jai McDowall.
The 24-year-old support worker, from Ayrshire in Scotland, overcame his nerves to beat favourite Ronan Parke into second place.
