On Sunday Beyoncé kicked off the South American leg of her Mrs Carter Show world tour with an intimate press conference at Estádio Plácido Aderaldo Castelão in Brazil.
The global superstar spoke to reporters about her love for South America and why she made the decision to bring her 21-month-year-old daughter Blue Ivy along with her.
The Crazy in Love singer said: "my dream has always been able to balance my life and my career…it's so difficult having a career and being a mother".
The 32-year-old singer also spoke of her excitement of introducing her daughter to "different cultures" and meeting "interesting people at such a young age".
After South America Beyoncé will move on to Australia before finishing up her tour in North America at the End of September.
