Former newsreader Angela Rippon (left) and ex-EastEnders actress Nadia Sawalha have become the first stars to leave Dancing On Ice.
The pair received the lowest number of public votes as series six kicked off on Sunday after taking part in a triple skate-off.
This year there are only 12 places up for grabs in the contest, which begins in earnest in two weeks.
The episode was the first of two knockout rounds which will see 16 hopefuls whittled down to the final dozen.
Although the judges gave marks to the contestants, their scores did not affect the outcome, which was based solely on viewers' votes.
Only half the celebs performed their routines this week, with the remainder taking to the ice this coming weekend.
Those who performed included Vanilla Ice, Kerry Katona and Jeff Brazier.
After learning of her fate, 66-year-old Angela said: "I'm gutted. I've had a wonderful time. It's been tremendous learning to skate."
