Marking the soap's 25th anniversary this month, EastEnders will be shown live for the first time in history.
And although the move may bring about some technical worries for directors and producers, there's one person in particular who is very much looking forward to it.
"I can't wait for it," says actor Adam Woodyatt, who plays long-term Albert Square resident, Ian Beale.
"I want to see the director's face when I leave a huge long pause between lines!
"It'll be bleeding hysterical. Parts of the set are falling to pieces because it's been standing for 25 years.
"I think it was only ever designed to last for 15. But it's been patched up in time for next week," he reveals.
The live episode, which will see the murderer of Archie Mitchell unveiled, is to be shown on February 19.
