Nancy Shevell, Paul McCartney's new fiancee, has spoken about her impending marriage to the Beatles legend.
Asked about her plans for the nuptials, the New Yorker replied: "Small. Just our families. I don't know the exact date", adding that the intimate affair would be "soon".
She went on to confirm that the pair would be wed in a civil ceremony.
"And don’t ask what I'll wear because how dressy do you get to stand before a Justice of the Peace in his chambers – which is exactly what we are going to do," she said.
Nancy, 51, also spoke to US reporter Cindy Adams about her new sparkling five Carat ring, revealing it is a "vintage 1925 Cartier engagement solitaire diamond."
Paul, 68, was apparently shown some larger jewels but preferred the antique style of the ring, which reportedly cost him £400,000.
Nancy also revealed that after the wedding, the happy couple will most likely live in the UK.
"I'd love to live here (in New York), but its probably England," she said.
"I still have a job here so I'll commute once a month."
