The Queen's Speech will traverse technological boundaries as the monarch behind it will be the first royal to grace a 3D screen.
Audiences with a 3D television or glasses will be able to enjoy the Queen's Christmas message in the new format, which was recorded on Friday.
Although the speech is expected to commemorate the Diamond Jubilee and Olympics' success, it is thought that the news of The Duchess of Cambridge's pregnancy will be omitted as the filming took place prior to the announcement.
Never one to shy away from modern technology, the monarch gave her first speech on the radio in 1952. The royal family established their own YouTube channel in 2007, and the Queen has had her own Twitter account since 2009.
