The X Factor has hit the headlines again after the weekend's controversial live shows.
At the start of Saturday's programme it was revealed for the first time ever that judges would each have to pick one of their own acts to leave the show on Sunday.
Sixteen-year-old Amelia-Lily kicked off the first of the live shows with an astounding rendition of Michael Jackson's Billie Jean.
But, it wasn't enough to secure her a place in the next round.
On Sunday after she was ejected by mentor Kelly Rowland, the 16-year-old from Middlesborough said:
"The twist was so unfair.
"If it was down to the public, I would have got through. My fan base is huge."
She also recognised that although it is a competition, it is also a television show and understands there has to be twists and turns.
"But it was really cruel. I was gutted when I found out about the twist."
