Take That star Mark Owen has bought a £1.8million, semi-detached home in South London in which he and wife Emma can have a fresh start, it has been reported.
The move comes just weeks after the singer admitted to a string of affairs and a long battle with alcoholism.
Friends of the star say Emma - who he married in October - has agreed to give their marriage a second chance.
"They are seeing it as a new start. There was a time when they thought the marriage was over but they have agreed to give it another chance. Mark has promised to do everything he can to make things work," a source tells the Mail on Sunday.
"Emma has longed to move for a while and she fell in love with this property. It’s in a really nice part of London and has great potential.
"They have just got planning permission and are going to have their dream house."
The couple have a three-year-old son, Elwood, and a one-year-old daughter, Willow Rose.
