Former Charlie's Angels star Farrah Fawcett has given permission for an interview she did last August to be published in a newspaper to mark the broadcast of a documentary about her battle with cancer. It airs on US TV this Friday.
In the interview the actress says she wanted to serve as an example of someone whose fight against the disease would have a lasting effect. Especially in the areas of protecting patient confidentiality and promoting alternative treatments.
"I'm holding onto the hope that there is some reason that I got cancer and there is something – that may not be very clear to me right now – but that I will do," she tells the Los Angeles Times.
