Tom Cruise has revealed his Rock Of Ages make-up didn't rock daughter Suri's world at first.
The Hollywood superstar donned lashings of black eyeliner and nail varnish for his role as glam rocker Stacee Jaxx, but his six-year-old daughter was not impressed.
"When I had the eyeliner and the painted nails, [Suri] was a little taken aback by it. She was like, 'What's happening to my dad?'" the 49-year-old told Ryan Seacrest on his KIIS-FM radio show.
"I joke with friends because she goes to her mum's [Katie Holmes] sets and there's hair and make-up and they're very nice. Suri comes to my sets and she's got to wear a hard helmet. There are explosions going off. Dad is bloody. He's bruised."
But Tom - who stars alongside Ryan's girlfriend Julianne Hough, Russell Brand, Alec Baldwin and Catherine Zeta-Jones in Adam Shankman's musical - insisted Suri enjoyed her trip onto the Rock Of Ages set.
"When she shows up on set, she really likes the singing. And here I am with black nail polish and eye-liner. She kind of takes it all in. It's cool," he added.
