After putting on 68lbs for 2008's Body of Lies, Russell Crowe has struggled to regain his trim figure.
From his recent Twitter activity, however, it seems the Master and Commander actor has plans to change that.
Over the past month Russell has been tracking the start of a 105-day training period - starting with a June 18 bike ride:
"First ride in quite some time. Sore legs, sore a**, be worse tomorrow and the next day."
His diet includes, "taking in roughly 2400cal/2600cal incl all beverages."
While his tweets prove he's having a rough go of it, the star remains optimistic.
"There is a long way to go, one layer of tissue paper per day of effort and diet."
Although often cryptic, it seems that Russell's latests tweets are not only free from controversy but also working to his advantage.
