Glee creator Ryan Murphy has said the season three finale will be a "real tearjerker".
The stars of the hit show are remaining tight-lipped about what's in store when the next series kicks off.
But Ryan gave a couple of hints at the LA premiere of Glee: The 3D Concert Movie.
"I know the last episode of the season and it will be a tearjerker," he promised.
Ryan – the mastermind behind the TV favourite – admitted he is proud that the show has racked up a number of Emmy nods.
"I'm just thrilled we are nominated and we're still in the game," he said.
"I have no expectations of winning at all."
He also insisted that there are no plans for a Glee spin-off, despite the fact that Lea Michele, Chris Colfer and Cory Monteith's characters will be graduating at the end of the third series.
"I think people got confused because they thought the word 'graduated' meant 'off', which it doesn't," he continued.
"There was talk of doing a spin-off but we're not talking about that any more just because we want to concentrate on the season. But nobody's going anywhere."
